The University of Bradford team up with Absolute
By Wayne Silcock
Absolute are pleased to announce that we have been appointed by The University of Bradford to work with them on rebranding their student union, the UBU.
We originally met with the team at the University earlier in the year, where we were involved in a competitive pitch for a different project. The team were impressed with our novel approach and ideas in answer to the brief and subsequently got us back in to discuss getting us involved in rebranding the Student Union.
Working alongside the UBU marketing team and students themselves, the project will involve the creation of a new brand identity for the UBU which will be brought to life via an innovative online hub. The students will manage and enhance the website daily through the societies and sports teams pages and it will all be linked closely to social media activity keeping the site up to date and relevant.
University of Bradford’s Senior Web & Marketing Manager, Claire Gibbons said;
"Absolute came in to pitch for some other work recently and it was so refreshing to see the ideas generated by a small, passionate, talented agency with strong conceptual thinking, that we felt that they were also the right agency to work on our Students’ Union rebrand and website."
We have to stay tight lipped about some of the details at the moment but check back on the blog soon to see how the project shapes up!
