Abbey Gate College is a highly acclaimed, independent school based in leafy surroundings near Chester. Unfortunately their website did not do a great job in reflecting their great facilities, setting, school history or academic record. Absolute were brought on board to shake things up and create a brand new site that appealed to parents, staff and pupils alike!

One of the key issues we discovered when collaborating with the team at the school was CONTENT. Their existing system made it a time consuming and tedious process for staff to add new content and keep the site fresh. Consequently, the site was not regularly updated, meaning parents and students were not engaged or using the site as a resource for the latest goings on at the school.

Utilising our iCMS Educate platform to handle the site administration, our team created a fully bespoke yet simple design for the front-end which displays relevant and up-to-date information, notice-board-style, from in and around the college. The Junior school was also treated to a fun twist on the main design.

"Absolute have made the process of developing and running our new College website very easy. The team designed a site that has been a real hit with the pupils and parents and is easy to manage and update. They took the time to get to know the College and our ethos is reflected within the easy to navigate pages.  The guys are always available to answer queries and their knowledge, experience and expertise has made the move to our new site a very straightforward one." said Gavin Allmand from the college."

Our team also directed a comprehensive video and photo shoot - even managing to charter a helicopter to get some awesome fly-by footage of the college grounds!
