The learning doesn't stop here...

After two and a half years studying with The Juice Academy, I’m proud to say that I have graduated with a Merit in CIM Level 3 & 4 Digital Marketing, as well as an award in City & Guilds Principles of Coding. But the learning doesn’t stop there for me..

When I began my apprenticeship in 2018, I was both excited and nervous to join Absolute Agency and begin my career in the creative and digital industry. Having joined straight from college, everything was new to me - I really was starting from scratch. But I had the help of a great team who directed and led me in a way which supported my learning while also giving me the freedom to chart my own path - even if that sometimes meant making some mistakes along the way - how else are you supposed to learn, right?

In the two and a half years I have worked at Absolute, my eyes have really been opened as to how much work goes on behind the scenes of each and every campaign, photoshoot or web project. I have been involved in a variety of projects from photoshoots with Manchester City Football Club, TV ads for premium homebuilder Redrow and brand workshops with prestigious Universities. All of which have allowed me to gain invaluable skills and a greater understanding of not only how my role plays into the delivery of the projects, but the role of each individual involved.

Although I am thrilled to have these qualifications under my belt, and be working for a forward thinking agency, I recognise that I still have so many paths to explore within the creative and digital world. That’s why I am constantly looking for ways to further my career, beginning with working on the ‘iDEA’ badges, and completing different modules on the Google Garage.

Having learnt so much in a short space of time, I am extremely excited to continue my journey with Absolute and widen my knowledge of the industry.

Despite the past year (of which so much has been said elsewhere!), the future feels bright and I’m excited to see what it brings.
