The Journey of a Graduate
What we plan and what life plans for us are completely different. The journeys we think we are set on aren’t always clear cut or set in stone. We are free to change our minds and change them again.
When I went to college to do my A levels, I was adamant that I would go to university and become a hot shot lawyer, but when the time came to accept my place, I didn’t want that anymore. I’d hit a wall in my plan, but life’s plan was right on track and I decided to find myself an apprenticeship.
During my time of searching the internet, I came across The Juice Academy and their content creator Level 3 apprenticeship which sounded right up my street and I knew this was what I wanted to do.
The Juice Academy Is known for its unique and comprehensive training program that combines practical hands-on experience with formal classroom learning taught by experienced mentors and guest speakers.
Once I applied and answered a series of questions, I found myself with an invite to The Juice Academy’s bootcamp in Manchester. The fast-paced day filled with socialising, interviewing and anticipation was a unique experience which took me out of my comfort zone in the best way possible. When each company showed us what they are about I knew instantly Absolute was what I wanted.
I have now been working at Absolute since October and I am thrilled with how it’s going. This opportunity has been a dream come true for me, learning from some of the best professionals in the industry. One of the most exciting things about working at Absolute Agency is the fast-paced environment. No two days are ever the same, and the agency is always on the lookout for new and innovative ways to help its clients. This has given me the chance to work on a variety of projects within multiple sectors, from developing social media campaigns to analysing data to creating insights.
This dynamic work environment alongside The Juice Academy’s sessions have been a great learning experience and skills development in content creation on real-life projects. In the first few months I have made a valuable network of people, all with similar interests, from the supportive and collaborative community at Absolute and the Juice Academy. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store.
