UK Sport Great support, great success

UK Sport is the organisation responsible for the running and development of elite-level sport in the United Kingdom, including the strategic investment of funding in sports and athletes to deliver the most medal winning success for Team GB at Olympic and Paralympic events.

After a review of the branding support they offer event partners, UK Sport Major Events team briefed us to produce two short videos which could be distributed to supported events for use across their marketing and fan engagement channels. The videos were also to raise awareness of the UK Sport brand and the role the National Lottery plays in funding elite performace in the UK. The videos would be used in the lead-up to major sporting events, but also during events as part of sports presentation.

UK Sport had a bank of footage from a range of supported events they had hosted over the past four years, including sports such as triathlons, athletics, swimming, gymnastics, basketball and hocket. The videos would be used in forthcoming UK Sport supported events such as the UCI Track Cycling World Cup in Glasgow, ITU World Triathlon Series and the FIH Men's World Hockey League, both in London, as well as the Men and Women's Squash World Championships in Manchester. Platforms the footage would be used on included the UK Sport, Camelot and supported event websites and related digital channels, including social media, as well as in-event presentations on large venue screens and scoreboards.
