The Challenge

For years, Show-me tried to solve its challenges with piecemeal activity: one-off campaigns, product pushes and occasional packaging tweaks.

But these small fixes weren’t enough. The brand lacked consistency, awareness was low outside its distributor network, and its messaging was cluttered. Without a stronger identity and strategy, even genuine product innovations risked being overlooked by schools.

Our Approach

Repositioning Show-me meant going beyond short-term fixes.

The brand needed more than another campaign or packaging tweak — it needed a complete transformation. Our role was to step back with the team and create a clear brand and campaign strategy that tackled awareness, consistency and growth head-on. By defining a sharper purpose, positioning and difference, then translating that into a bold identity, guidelines and toolkit, we built a brand system that not only celebrated Show-me’s product innovations but gave them the clarity and confidence to scale.

  1. Discovery
    1. We began with a full brand and channel audit, supported by competitor analysis, market research and data review. While loyal customers trusted the products, awareness outside Show-me’s distributor network was weak, and the brand wasn’t top of mind for most teachers.
    2. The audit also revealed cluttered communications and an inconsistent identity. Campaigns, packaging and digital channels often felt disjointed, making it harder for the brand to cut through. Competitor review showed the risk of being drowned out by cheaper, louder alternatives, with little to reinforce the quality and innovation that made Show-me different.
    3. These findings confirmed the challenge: without a clearer identity and strategy, even genuine product innovations risked being overlooked in the classroom.
  2. Clarity
    1. Through a brand workshop we redefined Show-me’s positioning and strategy. This wasn’t just a tidy-up exercise — it was about setting a clear direction for growth. Together we built a brand and campaign strategy that tackled awareness, consistency and demand head-on.
    2. The workshops revealed where Show-me’s real strengths lay: a reputation for innovative, high-quality tools that teachers could rely on. We shaped this into a strategy that raised awareness directly with primary schools rather than relying solely on distributors; built stronger associations between Show-me and trusted classroom innovation; and created a more consistent voice and identity across every channel.
    3. By putting this strategy in place, the team had a roadmap that guided everything — from campaigns and packaging to digital channels and distributor presence. It gave Show-me the clarity and focus they needed to grow, while uniting the business around a shared ambition.
  3. Vision
    1. We translated the new positioning into a bold creative system and narrative centred on the essence Seeing is Achieving. This gave Show-me a bigger story to tell — one that emphasised not only their classroom impact, but also the product innovations that set them apart.
    2. Creative concepts extended into campaigns, photography, website and social media — building a distinctive look and voice that teachers and distributors could instantly recognise. Packaging was reimagined within this vision too, creating a unified design system for such a broad product range. Together, these elements gave Show-me a brand personality that was confident, vibrant and rooted in the real classroom experience.
  4. Reality
    1. Finally, we brought the new brand to life across every touchpoint — from catalogues, campaigns and distributor pages to video and animations that told the story with impact. A comprehensive set of brand guidelines and a campaign toolkit gave Show-me the means to keep everything consistent and scalable.
    2. Most visibly, the new packaging system was applied across their full range of boards, pens and accessories — with structured categorisation and bold design impact. Photography highlighted both the quality of the products and their classroom use, reinforcing the brand’s practical value.
    3. The result was a brand that no longer relied on piecemeal fixes but delivered a consistent, professional and scalable identity — one that celebrated innovation and built stronger connections with schools and distributors alike.
