We are looking for a superstar Business Development Manager based from our main studio in Bolton to join our team to grow our client base and visibility. You will work alongside our Managing Director & Head of Client Services to help develop new client relationships for the agency based on our strategy.

As a Business Development Manager working within our agency, you will be required to push the business by developing it's clients and accounts using new and innovative methods. You will be responsible for your own individual set of monthly and yearly targets, as well as the drive and enthusiasm to manage a growing team. You will be self-motivated to not only manage inbound leads but also work on a detailed new business strategy to bring in the right type clients who match our ambition as an agency.

Coming into this role you will require previous experience in a business development or sales role within a Digital or Marketing agency. Proven sales results and of course a plethora of contacts is essential.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience of working in the digital or web industry
  • Experience of both digital and traditional marketing techniques and video production a bonus
  • Ability to hit monthly and yearly sales targets
  • Previous experience of growing and developing multiple client accounts
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
  • Experience of building and growing client relationships
  • Previous experience of working in an agency preferable
  • Excellent project management, organised and problem solving skills
  • Experienced in creating powerful proposals in PowerPoint or InDesign
  • Excellent writing skills

Role

The Business Development Manager fulfills an important, multi-functional role - specific responsibilities include:

  • Winning new business to meet the company’s overall financial targets
  • Writing contact reports from new business meetings and executing the action points
  • Developing a new CRM system
  • Providing monthly sales reports
  • Writing quality branding, website, digital, traditional marketing and video production proposals and presentations that are on brand and presented well to promote Absolute’s services and to help win/retain business
  • Pitching the business to new clients
  • Attending networking events
  • Liaise with the creative, digital and motion teams in order to plan, price and prioritise new projects
  • Ensuring good communication is maintained with the prospective clients at all times
